Warts
What are warts?
Warts are small, non-cancerous skin growths caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They can appear anywhere on the body but are most common on the hands, feet, and face. Warts are typically harmless but can be bothersome due to their appearance, location, or potential for discomfort. There are different types of warts- verruca vulgaris (common warts), plantar warts (on soles of feet), verruca plana (flat warts) and genital warts.
