Latisse

Latisse® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) is the first and only FDA-approved treatment for growing longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes. It is a proven and safe treatment for individuals with sparse or thinning lashes.

Latisse® works by extending the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle and increasing the number of hairs that grow. Applied daily to the upper lash line, noticeable results appear gradually over several weeks, with full results visible around 16 weeks. Continued application is required to maintain results.

  1. Apply once daily to a clean, dry upper lash line using the sterile applicator provided.
  2. Do not apply to the lower lashes to prevent unintended hair growth.
  3. Remove contact lenses before applying and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
  4. Avoid touching other areas of the face with the applicator to prevent unwanted hair growth.

Latisse® is well-tolerated, but some users may experience mild eye irritation or redness, darkening of the skin along the lash line (often reversible) and rarely, a slight darkening of the iris (more common in those with lighter eye colors)
